The pressure of diet culture plus the hectic pace of the holiday season, not to mention post-election feelings, may lead to more stress, reactivity, and lapsing into your old diet and body shame thoughts and patterns.

This workshop is for you if:
- You know the holidays can be more challenging for you around your eating, and you're not sure how you will handle being around more celebrations that center food.
- Some things about the holidays stress you out - managing the change in schedule, travels, social gatherings, and family dynamics is tough.
- Sometimes, it feels impossible to enjoy events that are “supposed to” be fun because you are distracted by how you feel about your body, comparing yourself to others or your body from another time.
- You want a fun and peaceful holiday season; all the diet talk and body shaming comments are taking the fun out of this time of the year.
In this one-hour online workshop, I’ll share holiday-season tips designed specifically for women in midlife and beyond.
This workshop will be interactive, so please bring your journal and a pen with you.
You’ll have a chance to reflect on your experience and beliefs and apply the tips to yourself.
Here’s what we’ll cover:
- Learn to set boundaries that protect you from ageism & diet/wellness culture mess
- Strategies to create space and a pace that supports your well-being
- Practices you can use to help regulate your nervous system through
- Ideas to help you push back against Diet Culture and Anti-Aging messages
I’ll also take a few minutes to tell you about Aging with Vitality and Body Liberation, my small-group coaching program that helps you feel more confident and comfortable in your body in midlife and beyond-- FREE of diet and wellness mess. There won't be any pressure to enroll, just some information in case the program is a good fit for you in the New Year.
